I was saying some words and asking the kids to write the "letters they heard". I would use the word in a sentence to try and help them with context...
Word: Bug
Sentence: The bug jumped up and started tap dancing.
Student: Well I hope he was wearing some tap shoes!
Hopefully he was using jazz hands too. :)
